Create your first protected site, configure a domain and verify the first request.
Complete this guide in a test environment first, then roll it out to production in stages.

Create a site
Open the console and create a site. Enter your business domain, then choose the initial origin region closest to your origin.
- Enter a primary domain, such as example.com
- Choose SCDN and an initial region
- Keep the default smart cache policy

Add a domain
Add the primary and subdomains that need acceleration or protection. A CNAME record is generated for each domain.

Verify traffic
Once DNS is live, open the domain or use curl. An X-CDNF-Edge response header confirms that traffic reached the edge network.
